Janitorial Technician - Details
Position Overview
Visible Difference Janitorial is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians to help maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for our clients. Team members in this role perform a variety of janitorial and custodial duties while representing Visible Difference with professionalism and pride.
This position reports directly to a Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform daily janitorial and custodial services in assigned buildings
Clean and service restrooms
Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials
Sweep, vacuum, dry mop, and wet mop floors and stairways
Dust furniture, blinds, windowsills, file cabinets, and other surfaces
Clean walls, windows, mirrors, fixtures, and woodworkÂ
Polish furniture, metal surfaces, and chrome using appropriate tools and products
Maintain organized cleaning carts and janitorial closets
Lock and unlock buildings as required
Maintain inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies and request restocking when needed
Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Complete additional reasonable duties as assigned by a Manager

Job Requirements
Ability to bend, reach, lift, and stand for extended periods
Professional appearance and courteous behavior while on client premises
Must wear company-issued or approved work apparel
Must provide a working cell phone number for supervisor contact
Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, tools, and equipment (training provided)
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Personal vehicle is requiredÂ
